Finaliti brand

Trust & Safety

Understanding requires trust.

Finaliti is built around a simple principle: the better we understand your past and present, the better we can help you explore future possibilities.

That understanding requires trust.

Trust is not a feature. Trust is a requirement.

This page is maintained by Finaliti to describe the principles that guide how the platform is built. It is not an independent certification or audit.

Four Pillars

01

Privacy

Who can see my information?

02

Security

Can my information be protected?

03

Truth

Can I trust the conclusions?

04

Control

Can I control what Finaliti knows?

01

Your Data Belongs To You

Your timeline belongs to you.

Your documents belong to you.

Your voice recordings belong to you.

Your updates belong to you.

Your projects belong to you.

Your organization's information belongs to your organization.

Finaliti exists to help you understand your information, not own it.

02

Privacy First

You decide what contributes to your timeline.

You decide what sources connect to your account.

You decide what information is shared.

You decide who can participate in Groups and Projects.

Private information remains private unless explicitly shared.

03

Understanding Is Permission Based

Finaliti only analyzes information that:

  • You provide
  • You upload
  • You authorize
  • Your organization authorizes

04

Facts, Inferences, and Possibilities

One of the most important principles in Finaliti.

Finaliti separates Facts (information supported by evidence), Inferences (reasonable interpretations of evidence), and Possibilities (potential future outcomes).

These are not the same thing. Users should always understand which is which.

05

Finaliti Must Earn Every Conclusion

Before presenting an insight, Finaliti asks:

  • What evidence supports this?
  • What timeline entries support this?
  • What dates support this?
  • What would make this conclusion incorrect?
  • Would another user receive the same answer?

06

Your Past Does Not Define You

Finaliti does not believe people are trapped by their history.

Your past informs you. Understanding your history may help illuminate your present and future possibilities.

The same principle applies to organizations.

07

Confidence and Uncertainty

Finaliti does not claim certainty when certainty does not exist.

Every insight may include evidence, confidence, and missing information.

Low-confidence conclusions should remain low-confidence conclusions.

08

Human Decision Making

Finaliti supports decisions. Finaliti does not make decisions for you.

Important decisions involving health, legal matters, financial matters, employment, education, or safety should always involve appropriate human judgment.

09

Projects and Groups

Finaliti supports collaboration through Groups and Projects.

Groups represent people. Projects represent initiatives.

Information should never move between Groups or Projects without authorization.

Isolation and permissions are core requirements.

10

Enterprise Trust

Organizations trust Finaliti with operational information — staffing, financials, customers, projects, strategic plans.

Finaliti should maintain strict separation between organizations.

No organization should ever have access to another organization's information.

11

Security Principles

Finaliti is designed around:

  • Authentication
  • Authorization
  • Auditability
  • Encryption
  • Least-privilege access
  • Permission controls

12

Transparency

Users should be able to understand:

  • Why they are seeing a signal
  • Why they are seeing a possibility
  • What evidence supports it
  • What information is missing

13

Continuous Improvement

Finaliti learns through updates, corrections, outcomes, and additional context.

Users should be able to improve understanding over time.

14

AI With Boundaries

Finaliti is designed to

  • Build understanding
  • Surface signals
  • Explore possibilities
  • Support planning
  • Learn from outcomes

Finaliti is not designed to

  • Invent evidence
  • Claim certainty without support
  • Hide uncertainty
  • Blend information across users
  • Replace human judgment

The Finaliti Commitment

Understanding only matters
if it can be trusted.

We believe understanding should be transparent, evidence-based, privacy-conscious, permission-based, and continuously improving.
